The SLC story so far

Welcome to our site. I'm Duncan Wood-Allum, founder Director of the Sport, Leisure and Culture Consultancy.

We support the sport, leisure and culture sectors in managing change, developing new solutions and improving quality of life for communities. We do this by providing the highest quality consultancy and advisory services, interim management, project management and managed services.

The clients we work with tend to stick with us, which we like. We stay close to policy developments,  key issues and opportunities within the sector. Our clients invest in our knowledge, expertise and experience, not expensive overheads.

We regularly contribute new thinking, including sharing international best practice, challenging traditional mindsets where we believe there is a smarter way to do things.  We are uniquely placed to support organisations in local government, the private sector and social enterprises who want to manage change proactively.

SLC is growing at a controlled pace and has invested in lean business systems to support our low overhead model alongside developing wider relationships with associates and partner organisations.

We're on track to being the strategic advisor of choice for the sector by 2015 and will continue to work hard to achieve our goal.
